OUTLINE
As we age skin becomes thinner, less hydrated with fine lines and wrinkles. This is often complicated by uneven skin tone caused by accumulation of pigment in the skin and broken facial veins (telangiectasia). Other skin imperfections which are not age dependent include oily, acne prone skin with open pores, breakouts, inflammation, pigmentation, and scarring. Similarly, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin may present with breakouts, redness, telangiectasia, and dryness. Pigmentary problems like melasma or post - inflammatory hyper pigmentation (PIH) can be caused by genetic, hormonal factors and inflammation.
OUR SERVICES
PROCEDURE:
Discontinue retinol and other exfoliants 1 week before laser treatment.
During treatment skin is cleansed with suitable antiseptic and moisturized.
You will be wearing specialist goggles to protect your eyes.
In some cases, cooling will be added for maximum comfort.
TIME 15 – 45 minutes
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?
Mild redness, swelling, bruising, burning sensation, increased warmth, dryness and peeling.
The severity of adverse reactions will depend on the intensity of treatment.
In case more intense treatment you can expect more intense and longer lasting reactions for 1-2 weeks.
We will guide you through the process and help you recover.
DOWNTIME:
Redness, mild swelling usually settle within 12-24 hours after treatment. Peeling may last for 7-14 days.
AFTERCARE:
After treatment you will receive complementary Triple Wave LPL LED treatment for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and post procedure skincare kit to facilitate speedy and uncomplicated recovery.
Avoid rough handling, picking or scratching treated skin and hot water for 72 hours.
Keep it clean, dry and moisturized.
Avoid sun exposure, use broad spectrum, mineral sunscreen with SPF 30+ and reapply it frequently.
Avoid swimming, sauna, sunbeds, vigorous exercise and activity which causes sweating for 48 hours.
Avoid normal make up for 7 days. Breathable, mineral make up can be used sooner.
Avoid shaving treated areas for 5 – 10 days. Apply specialist, recommended soothing agents.
Avoid perfumed products and exfoliants for 72 hours after treatment.
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS:
For best results minimum 3 treatments in monthly intervals are recommended Maintenance treatment every 6, 12, 18 months

PATCH TEST
Patch test ought to be performed 24 – 72 hours before treatment
SKIN PREPARATION BEFORE THE PROCEDURE:
Prior to laser treatment you will be advised to use specialist skincare products to calm down preexisting inflammation, repair barrier function and suppress pigment production in the skin to assure uncomplicated recovery. You should avoid sun exposure and use mineral, broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 + for 2-4 weeks before treatment.
ANAESTHESIA
No anesthesia is required. Cooling with cold air or a numbing cream may be added for comfort
