INTRODUCTION
OUR CHEMICAL PEELS OF CHOICE:
ALUMIER MD
Radiant 20/10, Radiant 30, Glow and Detox Clear are superficial peels with minimal to no peeling. Main constituents include: lactic acid, salicylic acid and kojic acid. These peels are suitable for sensitive, rosacea prone skin; oily, acne prone skin and sun damaged skin with pigmentation problems including melasma.
HYBRID PEELS
PRX T33 and BioRePeel peel gels are used for skin rejuvenation, reduction of pigmentation, melasma, crepey skin, scars and stretchmarks and to enhance results of some laser treatments. Best combined with skin rejuvenation with no visible peeling if combinedspecialist skincare.
THE PERFECT PEEL
The Perfect Peel is a medium peel resulting in a visible peeling for an average of 1 week. Among it’s ingredients are antioxidants (glutathione) and kojic acid for an effective skin rejuvenation, treatment of acne blemishes and pigmentation iproblems including melasma.
TRICHLOROACETIC ACID AND PHENOL
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and Phenol peels are medium to deep peels with efficacy comparable to laser in the reduction of lines and wrinkles (eyelids, “smoker’s lines” and acne scarring. You can expect a significant peeling effect and facial redness which fades away over time. TCA and phenol not only peel layers of skin they stimulate collagen production and give outstanding results. You can expect an average 2 -3 weeks of evovery time.
TCA CROSS - is a chemical reconstruction of the skin scars using trichloroacetic acid (TCA). It involves depositing small amounts of TCA at high concentration (70-100%) into the surface of the atrophic scars. This causes an inflammatory reaction and collagen fibres stimulation and an improvement of the appearance of scars. This technique may be combined with other treatments e.g. microneedling radiofrequency using SylFirm X.
A course of 3 treatments one month apart followed by maintenance is recommended. Visible peeling may last for 1-2 weeks. Best results are achieved if chemical peels are combined with specialist skincare.
